THE ORIGIN
CONTRAST WAS ALWAYS THE BEGINNING.
The story of CRUX began with its founder's fascination with two entirely different worlds. From an early age, he found himself drawn to contrasting forms of beauty.
One was a dark world shaped by gothic culture, alternative art, cold metal, mysterious symbols, and the strange allure of the unknown. The other was the bright, imaginative, and vividly colorful world of My Little Pony.
Darkness and color. Sharpness and softness. Mystery and playfulness. Although these elements may seem contradictory, they have always existed naturally together within his personal aesthetic.
Over time, he came to understand that true individuality should never be defined by a single style. A person can have many different sides, and every one of them can be an authentic part of who they are.
This belief became the first spark behind CRUX.
THE BIRTH OF CRUX
A SILENT LANGUAGE. A POINT OF DIRECTION.
Later, he discovered piercing culture. What fascinated him was not only the jewelry itself, but also the freedom, attitude, and self-expression it represents.
A tiny piece of jewelry can express someone's aesthetic, emotions, identity, or even a deeply personal story. For many people drawn to alternative culture and unconventional beauty, piercings become a silent language. They require no explanation, yet allow like-minded people to recognize one another in a crowd.
And so, CRUX was born. The brand takes its name from Crux, also known as the Southern Cross. It is the smallest of the 88 officially recognized constellations, yet also one of the most recognizable. For centuries, people have looked to the Southern Cross to find their direction.
For CRUX, it represents something equally meaningful: finding your own point in a vast world.
We hope every piece of CRUX jewelry can become a personal point of reference—a reminder that you do not need to become who others expect you to be or define yourself through a single aesthetic.

When our founder discovered titanium anodizing, he saw new possibilities for body jewelry. By applying different voltages, titanium can reveal a vibrant spectrum of colors, allowing a single design to express entirely different personalities.
This discovery helped shape the two worlds of CRUX.

Today, CRUX operates studios in both the United Kingdom and the United States, bringing our two worlds to life.
